A Fun Fourth followed by UNEMPLOYMENT!

Happy Fourth of July! This post is sort of chronologically backwards, but I'm just too tired to make it right, so sorry! We had a great fourth weekend, and on Monday morning Chris called me to let me know he no longer had a job. Yeah, sorta takes the wind right out of your sails doesn't it? Darn economy, we too are now feeling the back lash of it with a lay off. So, anyway, back to the fourth, no sense crying over spilled milk right? What Fourth of July doesn't start with a parade? And all of our kids were in it again this year. Yeah quite street side seats!
Riley and Ashley post Parade
The squad on the float. Hooper has a pretty small town parade...wait we are a small town!
The rest of the kids were in the wards Primary float. Chris and I chuckle every year because the individual ward floats take up about 90% of the parade. Aryn threw Sasha's candy, and she's crying. Lovely!
More of the same.

Ok, back in time, on Friday we got together with Chris' family at Tracee's house. Here are the Aryn, Kenley and Kody jumping in.
Chris and Sasha. I had to take lots of pictures of Chris in the water because frankly, it very rarely happens. Sasha is thrilled to ride on daddy's back.
The brothers play ball. Looks a little rough...it was, especially when the great Dane joined in.
Aryn on the diving board, well off of it really.
How many kids will fit in a hot tub? Almost all of the grand kids!
Aryn down the blow up slide...Sasha's favorite toy, she's not a big fan of the water.
And, the three teens. (Hmmmm....Kinz may not be a teen but still.) Savy, Ri and Kinz, chillin by the pool.
Now, I have to add that after the parade we did go to my moms for more swimming, but Riley's camera died, so no proof! And, as to the unemployment, keep praying as Chris and I both look for work. I've applied for 11 jobs in the last 2 days, and Chris 5. Hopefully one will work out for us!
